Hi, I’m Sammie, and I’ve been caring for animals of all kinds for over a decade. With a Master’s degree in Biology and hands-on clinical experience with both domestic and wild animals, I bring a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and well-being to every home I visit.
I specialize in overnight in-home pet care, ensuring your pets are safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether your furry family members require daily medications, multiple walks, or careful separation between pets, I create personalized care plans tailored to each household.
I also offer complimentary in-person consultations for first-time clients — this gives you and your pets a chance to get to know me and ensures that my care is the perfect fit for your family.

Will you personally be caring for my pets?
Yes. All services are personally provided by me.
In the rare event that I am unable to provide care due to illness or an unforeseen circumstance,
any alternative arrangements would be discussed with you in advance.
What kinds of animals do you care for?
I primarily care for cats and dogs, but I’m experienced with a wide range of other domestic
animals and am open to caring for many exotic pets as well. Each household and animal is
reviewed on a case-by-case basis during the consultation to ensure I can provide appropriate
care.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is based on the type of care, number of animals, time required, and any additional needs.
Each service has a starting rate, with additional animals, extended time, added tasks, or
supportive care priced incrementally. Final pricing is confirmed after an in-home consultation.
Services may be bundled for pricing efficiency, based on scheduling and logistics.
What is the booking process?
All new clients begin with a complimentary in-home consultation. This allows me to meet your
pets, review routines, and confirm that I can safely and appropriately provide care. After the
consultation, I provide a custom quote. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve
dates.
What happens if there’s an emergency while my pet is in your care?
If an urgent situation arises while your pet is in my care, their safety is always my priority. I will
make reasonable efforts to contact you and, if necessary, transport your pet to their veterinarian
or the nearest appropriate veterinary facility.
Emergency transport, wait time, and any additional care provided are handled on a case-by-case
basis and may incur additional fees.
Do you ever require another consultation for returning clients?
Yes, occasionally. If a significant amount of time has passed since the last service, or if there
have been changes such as a new pet, medications, routines, or health conditions, I may
recommend another complimentary consultation. This helps ensure I have the most up-to-date
information and can continue providing appropriate care.
